About the role

The Cashier interacts with customers entering and leaving the retail store, providing excellent customer service and accurately processing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the retail store, assisting with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• Handle customer transactions utilizing KCX cash register system.
• Responsible for accurate cash handling.
• Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• Responsible for handling customer returns.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Long periods of standing.
• Frequent bending and twisting.

Mental and Physical Requirements

• Cold and warm conditions.
• Irregular work schedule.

• Computer.

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $13.00-$15.00 (Depending on Experience).

Schedule

Hours vary with days, evenings (until 9pm), and a rotating weekend/holiday coverage required.
