Cashier | Part-Time | NBT Bank Stadium

Responsibilities

• Cashier the role includes operating the cash register by entering orders and completing sales.
• Maintain proper stock and supply levels and notify the Concessions Stand Manager of any shortages.
• Serve as a key point of contact for guests, addressing questions, requests, and concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including dish cleaning and waste disposal.
• Serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, while adhering to all state and federal regulations by verifying guest identification.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
• Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

Pay

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.50-$17.50 and is tip eligible.

NBT Bank Stadium is a professional minor league baseball stadium in Syracuse, New York, and the home of the Syracuse Mets, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets. Opened in 1997 and owned by Onondaga County, the stadium seats approximately 10,000 fans and hosts Syracuse Mets home games, large public events, promotions, and community activities throughout the season. The facility features modern amenities including concessions, suites, event spaces, and renovated fan areas, making it a fast-paced, customer-focused work environment.
