About the role
The Cashier interacts with customers in a retail setting, providing excellent customer service and handling transactions.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter the retail store
- Answer incoming telephone calls
- Handle customer transactions using the KCX cash register system
- Ensure accurate cash handling
- Price store merchandise as requested
- Stock merchandise on shelves as requested
- Handle customer returns
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds
- Long periods of standing
- Frequent bending and twisting
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Irregular work schedule
