Cashier (Part-Time) - Canandaigua, NY

About the role

The Cashier interacts with customers in a retail setting, providing excellent customer service. Hours are flexible, including evenings until 9pm, and involve rotating weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store, offering assistance with inquiries.
• Answer incoming phone calls and manage them appropriately.
• Operate the KCX cash register system to process customer transactions accurately.
• Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy.
• Price store merchandise as directed by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as needed.
• Manage customer returns according to store policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Long periods of standing.
• Frequent bending and twisting.
• Irregular work schedule.
