What You’ll Do As a Cashier, you are the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving our store. You'll Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customersCreate welcoming, memorable checkout experiences that leave a lasting impressionUse Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accuratelyHandle cash and payments responsibly, with attention to detailCommunicate clearly and confidently, using friendly eye contact and positive body languageAnswer customer questions and help resolve concerns with careBuild trust and connection that encourages customers to returnSupport other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly In short: you'll turn everyday moments into meaningful moments. This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked.
