Job Overview
At LV Petroleum, you will play a key role in managing daily transactions and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include processing sales efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service during our busiest times.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases and inquiries, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Transaction Handling: Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions through the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that the cashier station and store areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to support efficient operations during the afternoon shift
- Inventory Assistance: Help monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking items as needed
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and transactions accurately. Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for effective customer interaction. Dependability: Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours, particularly in the afternoon shifts, including weekends. Team Oriented: Ability to work collaboratively with others while maintaining a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction.
