Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases while addressing any queries professionally
- Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Keep the cashier area and surrounding environment clean, organized, and inviting for customers
- Maintain an understanding of products and promotions to provide helpful information to customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent customer service
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking as required
Requirements
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions accurately.
- Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Reliable and flexible, able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
