Cashier - Lunch/Afternoon Shift

About the Role

As a Cashier at Raising Cane’s, you will play a critical role in guiding the customer experience by greeting and assisting customers, filling drink orders, working the drive-thru, and contributing to the Restaurant’s front of house. This entry-level position offers opportunities for career advancement, including roles such as Certified Trainer or cross-training in back-of-house positions. We are hiring immediately for all shifts, including opening, closing, and everything in between.

No prior experience is required—we provide paid training for every new Restaurant Cashier. Within your first year, you can earn up to an additional $1.50 per hour through training, certifications, and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
• Fill drink orders and process payments efficiently
• Work the drive-thru and ensure smooth operations
• Clean tables, floors, and other areas of the Restaurant
• Take orders and follow proper safety procedures when handling or preparing food
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks and maintain service continuity
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time and work under pressure
• Align with Raising Cane’s culture by balancing hard work and fun
• Take initiative and comply with Company policies

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Provide quick and friendly service to all Customers
• Work as part of a team to assist other Crewmembers
• Ability to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Kneel, bend, twist, or stoop as needed
• Ascend or descend stairs
• Reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

Starting pay: $15.00 per hour. Within your first year, you can earn up to an additional $1.50 per hour through training, certifications, and performance evaluations.
