ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Display outstanding customer service skills by greeting customers, and providing friendly, courteous service at all times.
- Display this same courtesy to co-workers as well.
- Perform all shift duties assigned by management.
- Work well with others and follow instructions of shift leaders, managers and all other authority.
- Follow the company’s policies and procedures with relation to alcohol and tobacco sales, as well as cash handling, and all other policies and procedures for the company and/or store.
- Scan each item from a customer’s shopping cart on an electronic scanner and place the items on a conveying belt to be bagged.
- Be willing and able to work additional shifts other than what is posted on weekly schedule.
- Be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned such as general cleaning, custodial duties, and other activities as directed by management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- The store will provide all necessary training.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- All other physical requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
