Cashier/Hostess/Host - Gold Clubhouse

About the Role

This fantastic dining location allows our guests to dine inside the clubhouse or to enjoy a meal on its outdoor dining terrace. Menu items include a contemporary selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and tempting desserts.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests with hospitality and courtesy by meeting, greeting and seating them as they arrive for meals.
• Maintains a waiting list.
• Operates register to handle cash and charge transactions for restaurant facilities.
• Provides consistent quality accounting for all guest checks.
• Assists in stocking and maintaining retail space in restaurant.
• Balances work at the end of shift.
• Performs other duties as required to exceed guests' expectations.
• Helps expedite smooth, efficient and timely turnover of dining room tables.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age according to Virginia Code 4.1-307.
• Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Very good math and oral communication skills.
• Ability to (1) accurately handle large sums of money under pressure; (2) interact well with guests and co-workers; (3) maintain standards listed below.
