Cashier / Health and Body Care Clerk
About the role
The Health and Body Care (HBC) Clerk/Cashier provides excellent, professional customer service in the Health and Body Care department. When cashiering, they accurately and efficiently process orders and payments at the register. They order, receive, stock and merchandise Health and Body Care products.

Job Responsibilities
- Provides excellent, professional customer service
- Orders, receives, stocks and merchandises all HBC products
- Maintains an orderly appearance of register and HBC area
- Accurately and efficiently scans and keys items into register
- Receives and processes all payments according to PCC standards
- Performs basic math skills and is proficient at 10-key
- Communicates effectively about PCC's membership and programs
- Handles merchandise returns
- Bags groceries according to PCC bagging guidelines
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
- Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication skills
- Must demonstrate basic math skills
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills required
- Background in cashiering or retail grocery industry and basic knowledge of HBC products
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
- A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation Details
Starting Wage Range: $17.63-$17.83/hour
