Location: Anacortes, WA / Onsite. Schedule: Full Time / Days. Salary Range: $19.52 – $29.00 per hour. Shift Differentials: Night Differential - $2.75, Evening Differential - $2.25, Weekend Differential - $1.50.
Responsibilities
The Cashier is responsible for posting payments received from insurance companies to patient’s accounts, computing contractual allowances, and balancing batches with deposit records each day.
- Accurately codes and manually and electronically posts payments and maintains required records, reports and files.
- Reconciles daily cash
- Backs up other cashiers
- Balances cash drawer
- Maintains strictest confidentiality
- Performs related work as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One year cashiering experience, especially in the medical field, is preferred.
- Bookkeeping experience
- Math skills
