CASHIER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Fresh Ideas is seeking immediate full-time and part-time CASHIER positions at Blackburn College, located at 700 College Avenue, Carlinville, IL 62626. Online applications are accepted only. Responsibilities

• Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports.
• Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.
• Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Accepts various forms of payment, issues receipts, and handles cash refunds.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Ensures cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenishes condiments, coffee, beverages, and general supplies, maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
• Keeps pastry case stocked and ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory procedures.
• Observes customer purchases and differentiates between standard portions.
• Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts.
• May perform general food service work.

Requirements

Prior experience in cash handling, customer service, cleaning, and detail-oriented work is required.
