CASHIER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

About the role

Fresh Ideas is seeking immediate full-time and part-time CASHIER positions at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma located at 1727 West Alabama Avenue, Chickasha, OK 73018. Online applications are accepted only. Schedules include AM, Mid, and PM shifts with flexible availability. Pay range is $10.00 to $14.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Performs cashiering duties including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports.
• Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.
• Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Accepts various forms of payment and issues receipts to customers.
• Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Ensures cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenishes condiments, coffee, other beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
• Keeps pastry case stocked and ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Observes customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiates between standard portions.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Prior cashier experience is preferred.
