CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME)
About the role
We are seeking a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER to join our team at the Penn Museum. The position offers a competitive pay range of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour and includes various benefits.
Responsibilities
- Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts.
- Assists in preparing catering orders.
- Performs cashier duties using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Cleans and maintains the coffee and cashier stations.
- Serves hot and cold items to customers.
- Keeps refrigerators stocked and rotates products using the first in, first out rule.
- Restocks pantries with correct par levels of food items.
- Records replenished amounts and refrigerator temperatures daily.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Previous barista experience is preferred.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Skills
Knowledge of POS systems, ability to handle cash accurately, and strong customer service skills are essential.
