CASHIER/EXPO

About the role

The Cashier/Expo is a team member of the Front of House responsible for delivering superior customer satisfaction through positive customer management, including greeting, menu guidance, payment processing, loyalty benefits, and upholding core values. The role models company culture and ensures the highest standards in guest experience, service quality, cleanliness, and safety. The Cashier/Expo reports to the Shift Leader and General Manager, executing policies, procedures, and direction provided by leadership. Completion of General Team Member Training Certification and Cashier/Expo Training Certification is required. Fluency in English, professional dress, speech, and behavior are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Professionally and enthusiastically greet customers, guide them through the menu, and process orders efficiently with a friendly, positive attitude aligned with company core values
• Maintain superior knowledge of the entire menu, including ingredients, modifications, allergens, and upcharge costs
• Field inside, drive-thru, and phone orders
• Support other team members as needed
• Operate a Point of Sale system (POS), accurately reconcile daily checkouts, sales, tips, and credit cards with proper cash handling procedures
• Follow policies and procedures for comps, voids, employee food, and customer loyalty programs
• Complete position primary and secondary responsibilities and daily duties at a superior level
• Address customer complaints and report to Shift Leader and/or General Manager
• Perform table touches to ensure order accuracy, food quality, refills, and guest satisfaction
• Keep company passwords and intellectual property confidential
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude and present professional conduct and appearance at all times
• Use, implement, and adhere to all company policies, procedures, systems, and processes
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance; scheduled hours range Sunday–Saturday from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm with shifts lasting 4 to 8 hours

• 18+ years of age
• High school graduate

• Basic math and computer skills
• Availability to work on weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Successful completion of General Team Member Training Certification
• Successful completion of Cashier/Expo Training Certification
