Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receives and balances driver’s deposits and paperwork.
  • Inputs all received cash, checks and charges into computer.
  • Balances all money and charges received with computer reports and resolves any discrepancies.
  • Prepares reports for Controller and accounting personnel.
  • Prepares bank deposits.
  • Tracks driver case sales, keys, and over/short deposits.
  • Separates hot shot and void invoices.
  • Track and order supplies.
  • Maintain NFS' culture of dignity and respect and works as a productive member of a team.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Attends North Florida Sales meetings as required.
  • Adheres to all State Beverage Laws.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and two (2) years heavy cash handling and balancing experience. Some college preferred.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to write reports or correspondence. Ability to speak and communicate well with employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to operate a 10-key adding machine by touch.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or scheduled form.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
