Cashier Cherries Full-Time Days $14 - $21/hr

Responsibilities

• Handle Guest check transactions, food running, bussing, and host interactions.
• Adhere to Grand Casino’s service and cash handling standards.
• Receive payment from Guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Prepare orders in a timely manner and complete them with garnish and accompaniments.
• Answer Guest questions and direct concerns to appropriate management.
• Address Guest complaints and resolve them quickly and courteously.
• Seat Guests according to established procedures of the venue.
• Encourage mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all Associates.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary dining area in full accordance with state health regulations.
• Operate Host seating computer system, distribute menus, and explain the food items.
• Communicate with Guests including wait times, verify reservations, and provide general venue information.
• Assist in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation.
• Clean and sanitize tables and dining room upon Guest departure.
• Participate as a team member with other associates in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience.
• Able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Compliant with all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
