Cashier - Casino Cage - Swing/Grave Part Time

About the role

A Player Service Representative assists customers in exchanging U.S. currency for casino chips, credit chips, cash, foreign currency, Golden Nugget documents, and negotiable instruments. This role also sells gambling chips, tokens, or tickets to patrons, pays out jackpots, and manages credit applications.

Responsibilities

• Sale and redemption of casino chips and coin for cash and other money items
• Issuance and redemption of Markers
• Customer deposits and withdrawals
• Cashing of checks using computer terminals
• Establish new computer accounts and process document requirements for credit and check cashing within policy and regulatory guidelines
• Balancing assigned funds
• Create and issue Players Club cards and promote the program and related promotions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of player tracking system, promotions, events, entertainment, and general property information
• Ensure the protection of customer’s rewards and credit lines

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of cash handling experience
• Ability to operate a computer terminal and communicate clearly and friendly with the public
• Knowledge of 10-key and balancing of banks
• Solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, hands-on environment
• Minimum age of 21 years old
• Must be able to obtain MS gaming permit
