Responsibilities
- Operate scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics.
- Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate.
- Follow all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase of specific items, such as alcohol.
- Adhere to company standards for proper packing.
- Acquire and share knowledge of the store.
- Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
- Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
- Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sense of urgency and ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
- Compliance with all company policies and standards.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Production-driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks while standing.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work the hours required to meet company objectives, including occasional additional time as needed.
- Willingness to work a non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday, and evenings.
- Full availability Sunday–Saturday.
