Available work shifts: Monday 7 - 3p, Wednesday, Friday 2p - 10p, Saturday, Sunday 2p - 10p
Length of Time: Sprouts anticipates requiring coverage of these hours for 3 months.

Overview Of Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are responsible for processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include accurately handling cash, credit/debit payments, and change, assisting customers with product information, and resolving their complaints. You are also expected to assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed, maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition, and execute other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  
• 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience.
  
• Outgoing and friendly behavior, positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers.
  
• Ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
  
• Dependable and reliable, capable of working flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  
• Good communication skills, ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
  
• Able to perform repetitive activities, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
  
• Able to lift/carry products up to 30 lbs. horizontally/vertically, up to 36” to 24” for a distance up to 3 feet, and up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance.
  
• Able to move grocery carts horizontally with a force up to 35 lbs. for a distance up to 4 feet, up to 50 hours.
  
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers, including cash handling and mathematical skills.
