Cashier

About the role

As a cashier at Parkhurst Dining, you will be part of a family-owned and operated company with deep roots that inspire growth and a shared purpose of "to Create a Smile." You'll be part of an enduring legacy and exciting growth within the Eat'n Park Hospitality Group, which spans 14 states across more than 150 locations and employs nearly 10,000 team members.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge the presence of our guests immediately, with a friendly greeting.
• Utilize the tools provided to stay organized.
• Learn menu and daily specials, keeping in close communication with management.
• Bus tables and help maintain cleanliness.
• Restock/organize areas surrounding the check-out counters.
• Handle all POS transactions ethically and according to company policies, including all cash, meal plan or swipe, and Cater Trax orders.
• Accurately make change for all cash-paying guests, maintain proper counts of all transactions, maintain accurate balance in cash drawer at all times, and reconcile cash drawer after every meal.

Requirements

• Standing and/or walking - 100% of time.
• Occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Frequently lifting up to 20 lbs.
