Cashier

About the role

Cashiers at OTG are responsible for delivering the OTG guest experience. Educating guests, making recommendations based on preferences, up-selling special items, and maintaining a clean, sanitized store are key to success. Ideal candidates enjoy working with others, creating great guest experiences, and are motivated to keep the store clean and stocked.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests quickly and pleasantly, with a smile
• Accurately and quickly process all payments by cash, credit cards, or voucher, following OTG cash handling and cash register policies and procedures
• Maintain solid product knowledge to share with guests
• Bag all purchases for customers
• Maintain display items in a clean and orderly fashion
• Keep a spotless working environment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Restock shelves and perform duties of a barista, as needed
• Stock shelves and other food court areas
• Maintain knowledge of airport terminal and restaurants; offer information and recommendations
• Maintain a clean, neat, well-groomed appearance
• Other duties, as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to lift 35 lbs.
• Comfortable with cash register operations and safeguarding company assets
• Mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions—flexibility is required

Pay

$21 per hour
