Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately, providing outstanding service, and maintaining an organized checkout area. Responsibilities

• Process cash, credit card, and electronic payment transactions accurately
• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance
• Answer customer questions regarding products, services, and store policies
• Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and credits in accordance with company procedures
• Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies
• Aid with basic inventory support, including restocking merchandise near the register

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus but not required
• Strong numerical and basic math skills
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions
