About the role

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for an enthusiastic part-time Morning/Daytime Front of House Team Member who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, and community as we are. In this role, you will work with a dynamic team offering a unique menu selection—from scratch-baked bread and pastries to soups, salads, and sandwiches—all made with honest, whole ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Actively listen to guests and confidently suggest meal and gift items to first-time guests and returning regulars
• Work quickly, learn from mistakes, and proactively step in to help other departments
• Maintain attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handling and sanitation standards
• Perform essential job functions with continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service/serving experience (preferred, not required)
• Flexible schedule—shifts vary weekly depending on customer traffic and time of year, starting as early as 7 AM and ending as late as 10 PM, Monday through Saturday
• Must be 16+ years old
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
