Cashier

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Morning/Daytime Front of House Team Member who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community.

About the role

Work with a dynamic team offering a unique menu selection—from scratch-baked bread and pastries to soups, salads, and sandwiches—all made with honest, whole ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Actively listen to guests and confidently suggest meal and gift items to first-time visitors and regulars.
• Work quickly, learn from mistakes, and proactively assist other departments before being asked.

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service or serving experience (preferred, not required).
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handling and sanitation.
• Flexible schedule: shifts vary weekly based on customer traffic and time of year, starting as early as 7 AM and ending as late as 10 PM, Monday through Saturday.
• Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be 16+ years old.
