About the role

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a high-energy, positive, and team-minded Cashier to join their retail team. This position is crucial for the success of their retail store operation.

Responsibilities

• Complete transactions, handle money responsibly, and maintain accuracy of point of sale purchases.
• Sort, grade, process, and stock shelves of donated goods.
• Maintain a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to keep the store clean.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• No formal education required.
• One year of customer service and/or production experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs. frequently and 10 lbs. occasionally.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with point of sale systems.
