Cashier

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for a high-energy, positive, team-minded Cashier to join our retail team. This position is essential for the success of our retail store operation. Responsibilities

• Complete transactions, handle money in all forms responsibly, and maintain accuracy of point-of-sale purchases.
• Sort, grade, process, stock shelves, and facilitate the sale of used donated goods.
• Maintain a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to keep the store clean.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• No formal education required.
• 1 year of customer service and/or production experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry 10 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.

Pay

$12.00/hour

Schedule

• Full-time, five 8-hour days.
• Shift B: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM.
• Store hours: Monday–Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
