About the role

Our franchise organization, BOTH Inc Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly CASHIERS to join our team! We offer full-time positions with AM shifts, including weekend shifts, and provide a free meal every shift. We also offer performance raises and advancement opportunities, and no experience is required as we will train.

Responsibilities

Entering and leaving Golden Corral are two of the most critical moments in the guest’s experience because lasting impressions are formed during these moments. The Cashier interactions with our guests and these impressions ultimately dictate whether the guest will return.

• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and offer a sincere, personal invitation to return as the guests leave
• Offer assistance to guests who may need help, including seating guests at peak times
• Process internet and phone food orders for curbside pickup
• Process To-Go orders for guests who come into select their own food from the buffet
• Be friendly and courteous on the phone
• Handle payments accurately
• Know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery
• Know what is on buffet for the day and have a full knowledge of menu and prices

Requirements

• Maintain organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host/cashier station and surrounding areas
• Help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct
• Clean all buffets and surrounding areas
• Assist the Buffet Attendant when necessary
• Follow local health department laws
• Perform duty roster and ensure cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met
• Inform the Manager when the money in the drawer needs to be taken to the safe to reduce the risk of robbery
• Ensure drawer balances with daily paperwork

Working Conditions

Position requires standing and walking 3 to 4 hours without a rest break. Regular, moderate (1-35 lbs.) lifting and carrying; bending and reaching is required. Work environment requires the use of tools such as cash register, drink dispenser and glasses and a forceful grip is required for the use of these tools. Work setting is within the restaurant.
