About the role

We are seeking Cashiers to join our team and provide outstanding service in a helpful, fun, and guest-focused environment. As a key part of our retail and grocery store experience, you’ll ensure every shopper leaves ready to return. Providing excellent guest service—whether through friendly greetings, answering questions, or addressing concerns—will make a positive impact every day.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Guests: Initiate friendly conversations, make eye contact, and ensure every guest feels welcome and valued.
• Efficient Transactions: Scan grocery items, process sales accurately, and handle monetary transactions with care.
• Bagging with Care: Thoughtfully bag items to ensure products reach their destination in the condition they left our store.
• Stay Informed: Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements to assist guests effectively.
• Maintain Order: Keep your register station neat and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Communication: Relay guest requests to the Guest Services leadership team as needed to ensure satisfaction.
• Quality Standards: Ensure all quality and quantity standards are met, especially during peak times at 10 am and 5 pm.
• Teamwork: Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and provide adequate notice for occasional absences.

Requirements

• Customer Service Skills: Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding retail sales and service.
• Retail Experience: Ability to process information, merchandise transactions, and handle cash and media at registers.
• Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
• Accuracy: Ability to read, count, and write accurately to ensure precise transactions.
• Equipment Operation: Ability to operate all necessary equipment to perform the job.

• Ability to stand in place for long periods, walk in the store, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.
• Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Schedule

The Cashier position is flexible, offering both part-time and full-time opportunities. The work schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on your availability.
