El Capitan Canyon Resort is a luxury glamping resort on 300 acres in a stunning natural environment in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. At the El Capitan Canyon Market, you will work with our team in a fast-paced service environment helping to facilitate an amazing stay for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all food orders from customers are accurate and served in a timely manner.
• Recommend meals to customers based on the menu and specials.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Store Supervisor to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant experience.
• Confirm orders with the cooks whenever a clarification is requested.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging services.
• Follow cash handling and POS procedures.
• Follow responsible alcohol service.
• Assist in organizing, restocking and receiving merchandise for the retail department.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent; or relevant work experience.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
• Previous point of sale system experience is a plus.
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills in working with high-profile clients.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Flexible to work AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Eager to learn and grow.
