Significant Activities & Deliverables
- Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous, and efficient customer checkout service.
- Learn and follow all applicable company policies and procedures regarding discounts, coupons, refunds, cash handling, employee purchase and all other transactions handled at the register.
- Operate electronic scanning cash register to total customers' final bill.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area including check stand area as well as straightening up end cap display areas near check stand.
- Maintain the restrooms clean.
- Put products away when inventory arrives.
- Stock shelves and display cases with appropriate products as needed.
- Maintain storage room.
- Count and reconcile cash and coupons in cash register drawer at beginning and end of every shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- One year of experience in a high-volume retail/food store environment.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven track record of accurate cashier transactions completed.
Physical & Mental Demands
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
- Lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
- Vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
