Cashier

About the role

This position greets customers, serves them tactfully and pleasantly, follows cash handling policies and procedures, operates electronic cash registers accurately and efficiently, processes new items and stocks products, maintains an orderly appearance of the register area and stocked supplies, and may assist with pricing as needed.

Responsibilities

• May be responsible for inventory control, including processing new items and stocking products
• Maintains orderly appearance of register area and stocked supplies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Customer service experience preferred

• Ability to learn and comply with cash register system and procedures
• Ability to communicate with a wide variety of customers
• Ability to follow instructions, oral and written
• Basic math skills
• Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail

Schedule

Variety of 8 hour shifts between the hours of 5:30 am - 5:00 pm, including every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Pay

$18.85 - $28.30
