About the role

An OTC Cashier contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to shoppers, donors, people seeking testing or pharmacy patrons. Within their duties of ringing up sales and answering customers' questions, this position has the opportunity to give standout service that enhances the reputation of AHF and encourages customers to return to an OTC and recommend it to others. In addition, better sales performance will increase AHF's ability to serve more clients.

Responsibilities

• Ringing up sales and answering customers' questions
• Precision in the handling of cash and credit purchases
• Encouraging customers to return to an OTC and recommending it to others
• Enhancing the experience of other OTC employees by being friendly and helpful
• Offering to help other employees when needed
• Giving feedback to their manager on how service could be improved
• Adapting to various situations with ease and being flexible
