Cashier- Aquatics Facilities

About the role

This is a full-time position within the City of Elkhart's Department of Public Works.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of city infrastructure including roads, bridges, and public buildings.
• Manage a team of city workers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Respond to emergency situations and perform immediate repairs as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in municipal engineering or construction management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Knowledge of city infrastructure systems and maintenance practices.
• Experience with project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually.

Schedule
