Cash Processor II Onsite

About the role

Dovenmuehle is a leading mortgage subservicing firm with several hundred financial institution clients nationwide. This role supports the bankruptcy department by processing funds received during bankruptcies.

Responsibilities

• Apply all funds received during the life of bankruptcy.
• Prepare the Cash doc to guide the Cash department on fund application.
• Scan and upload supporting documents into the document hub.
• Answer inbound bankruptcy-related phone calls.
• Post payments based on proof of claim.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a professional attitude and atmosphere within the department.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
• Complete annual regulatory compliance training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in mortgage servicing, specifically cash posting.
• Excellent math skills.
• Strong PC skills: Proficient with Microsoft applications and loan servicing platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate/experience preferred.
• Experience with MSP systems preferred.

Pay

Non-exempt, full-time position, 40 hours/week, with overtime as required.
