Cash Posting Manager

About the role

The Cash Posting Manager oversees the cash application team, ensuring timely and accurate posting of payments into the A/R system. Key responsibilities include managing team performance, resolving payment issues, and collaborating with finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage team of Cash Application Specialists
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of all third-party and patient payments
• Research, reconcile, balance, and identify errors
• Manage cash flow and identify risks related to cash forecasts
• Support financial audits and respond to audits
• Develop and refine process flows for efficiency
• Evaluate system processes and tools for automation
• Provide reporting and metrics for performance evaluation
• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance team leaders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in a health care cash posting environment
• Minimum of 3 years management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and help set professional development goals

Pay

• $93,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience
