About the role
The Cash Manager II is responsible for managing inside currency operations, assisting the Branch Manager in the secure, safe, and efficient functioning of an armored car facility. This role drives business execution, motivates team members, and enforces rules to protect Brink's premises, property, and personnel safety.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line supervision to Cash Logistics employees
- Maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring all employees work and return home safely
- Leverage systems, equipment, and process redesign to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and efficiency
- Maintain and provide quality customer service
- Secure inventories by executing controls and ensuring strict compliance with security procedures; proactively reduce risk exposure and worker’s compensation injury costs
- Establish and maintain accountability on the front line; schedule and develop staff while fostering positive employee relations and a cooperative team atmosphere
- Maintain high integrity, ethical standards, and the Brink’s reputation by delivering reliable programs and services that meet customer expectations
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of operations experience in a cash or vault processing environment
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
- Satisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
- Valid guard card or ability to obtain one, along with any other required licenses
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of operations and claims experience
- Previous cash handling experience in secure logistics or banking
- Experience in a coin processing environment
- Knowledge of lean/process improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of budgeting and planning
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
