Cash Management Support Specialist
About the role
The Cash Management Support Specialist is responsible for performing operational support duties for cash management products and services. Provides a full range of professional, technical, and general assistance to business customers and internal customers including: Fully supporting the Remote Deposit Capture product; performs business customer setups; prepares contracts, maintains business customer files; monitors product usage and system operations; and resolves problems within given authority. Complies with all policies and regulations and ensures that all security measures and controls are followed. Provides training assistance to business and internal customers on the features and benefits of cash management products and services. Performs a variety of routine daily tasks; reviews reports, prepares correspondence; and participates in special department projects.
Responsibilities
- 40% – Address and resolves a wide range of complex questions from both external and internal customers regarding business banking services including Business Online Banker, Positive Pay, ACH origination, ACH account assistance and additional business products from incoming calls and emails.
- 30% – Fully supports the Remote Deposit Capture product. Account creation for new companies, scanner installations, customer training, assists with problem resolution, and acts as liaison between the customer, Fiserv, and NBT Management. Keeps customers informed of new and revised services.
- 20% – Technical issues involving the hardware and software of RDC scanners in addition to any other bank services or products as required.
- 5% – Ensures all security measures, policies, procedures and controls are adhered to Standards measured by live call monitoring and review of cases created in CSCS.
- 5% – May assist with work in other Operations Departments. May assist in training of new employees. Other duties as assigned.
Education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates degree preferred
- Customer service and/or sales experience
- Minimum four years Call Center experience or two years Call Center plus 2 years branch, back-office or other customer support experience
- NBT experience preferred
Skills and abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment
- PC skills in a Windows environment to include Word/Excel
- Technical knowledge of the installation and working knowledge of a PC scanner
- Excellent and problem solving skills and the ability to trouble shoot technical issues
- Ability to provide comprehensive training to customers
- Understand the roles and functions of various internal departments including Deposit and Loan Operations, Item Processing, Statement Rendering, EFT, Remote Deposit Capture and Research
- In depth knowledge of bank policies and procedures

Pay
Pay Range: $22.61 – $30.15
