Cash Management Consultant Senior
About the role
As a Cash Management Consultant Senior in Business Banking, you will play a crucial role in the business development process, acting as a trusted advisor to Business Relationship Managers-Acquisition (BRMs), Business Development Managers (BDMs), their clients, and prospects. You will collaborate with BRMs and BDMs to identify, propose, and deliver suitable Cash Management products and solutions to customers and prospects, providing an exceptional client experience while minimizing risk.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers-Acquisition (BRMs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to drive the development of new profitable Cash Management business while maintaining and growing the existing portfolio.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs through strategic, consultative conversations; leverage expertise to make recommendations around payments, receivables, and fraud while working within risk parameters that protect the bank.
- Apply knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts, and creative marketing techniques using Chase resources to develop business networks and prospects.
- Protect the firm by following sound risk management protocols, control policies, and regulatory requirements; escalate issues as identified.
- Build collaborative internal relationships to develop and foster partnerships with assigned BRMs, BDMs, AMs, MMs, and cross-functional peers.
- Act as the face of cash management in your assigned market; deliver thought leadership to the market, prospects, clients, and Centers of Influence (COIs) on cash flow solutions.
- Host and present Continuing Professional Education (CPE) events for COIs.
- Engage in a disciplined relationship development process and manage quality call activities; leverage prospecting tools such as RelPro and Vertical IQ.
- Manage proposals for new-to-Chase clients by utilizing Seismic and Proformas.
- Lead the new client journey end-to-end; partner with the client to ensure successful implementation of Cash Management products; manage customer expectations by communicating upfront timelines and deliverables.
- Leverage digital tools to ensure clients are versed in self-service options.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years' experience in Cash Management/Treasury Services or related business experience.
- Excellent relationship management and business development/sales skills.
- Strong selling and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills.
- Strategic thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field.
- Certified Treasury Professional certification, or ability to obtain certification.
