General Summary
The Cash Control Teller works under the direction of the Manager of Accounting to support the revenue operations of the Crayola Experience. The Cash Control Teller works primarily in the Cash Control Office, counting and reconciling sales revenue, distributing change throughout the facility to cashiers, maintaining the operating fund, and performing daily vault counts.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain the security of the cash office and its contents
- Aid with the preparation of daily bank deposits
- Replenish token machines with tokens and reconcile the collected revenue
- Provide cashiers throughout the facility with adequate change for their drawers
- Obtain cashier’s checks for group sales refunds
- Pick up change in the form of coins and singles from the bank
- Handle cash office questions or concerns
- Contact proper personnel in the event of machine failures
Job Specifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Must be flexible to work varying shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Proficient with counting money accurately and efficiently
- Be able to detect counterfeit bills
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Follow departmental policies and procedures at all times
Physical Conditions
- Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, using hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds in coins
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Kneeling on the floor to properly count the contents in vault
- Communicate via walkie and respond quickly to staff and facility needs
