Caseworker II
About the role
The Caseworker II at Parkview Behavioral Health Institute is responsible for providing a range of services including monitoring and supportive intervention to Park Center's child, adolescent, and adult clients. They communicate progress and problems to other members of the treatment team, including family members, provide and/or arrange transportation services when needed, respond to crisis calls, and provide crisis intervention in consultation with other members of the team. They participate in the development of the treatment plan for assigned clients and carry out the treatment plan through home visits and community liaisons, working with school systems as needed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support intervention for clients
- Communicate progress and problems to the treatment team
- Provide and/or arrange transportation services
- Respond to crisis calls and provide crisis intervention
- Participate in the development of the treatment plan
- Carry out the treatment plan through home visits and community liaisons
- Work with school systems as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, human services, or other related field
- Valid state driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- CPR required within 30 days of employment
- At least one year of experience in a mental health environment
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen

Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
