Case Picker II

Picks customer orders in the form of full-case quantities and labels products appropriately with pick tickets/shipping labels. Operates handling equipment including motorized pallet jack, order picker, and/or reach forklift. Verifies product information on location labels and pick tickets to maintain high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process batches of pick tickets corresponding to customer orders.
• Accurately select and label full manufacturer cases for shipment.
• Safely operate a variety of equipment including elevated order picker, motorized pallet jack, and/or reach forklift.
• Dispose of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain safe and clean working conditions.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
• Meet company standards for quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis.
• Perform all work-related tasks in compliance with Company policies and procedures, including Worldwide Business Standards.
• Adhere to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding workplace behavior.

Productivity is monitored systematically, with monthly incentive payouts for qualifying performers. Voluntary (not mandatory) overtime opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Ability to pass machine driver safety training for all required equipment.
• Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Strong communication (written/verbal) skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code).
• Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience.

Pay

For this position in Sparks, Nevada, the hourly rate is $19.25. Internal promotions receive a $1.25 increase to their current hourly rate, while lateral internal transfers maintain their current rate.
