Responsibilities
Provide services to people ages 17-22 who are transitioning out of resource home/foster care, or are already living independently, and need individualized skill development and support to transition successfully into adulthood.
Skill development may include obtaining and maintaining safe and suitable housing, continuing their education, learning independent living skills, obtaining and maintaining employment, building a support system, and remaining free from legal involvement.
- Specialists primarily work in the community and will have access to an agency vehicle, cell phone, and laptop.
- Specialists will be provided with training in an evidenced based model, and are expected to adhere to this model throughout the intervention.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a social service-related field, plus one year of experience.
- Driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Work independently as well as part of a team, strong organizational skills, knowledge of the community, and ability to advocate for youth needs.

Pay
$55,000 per year with Sign On Bonus $2,500
Schedule
This is a home-based position covering Essex, Middlesex, Somerset, Mercer, Hunterdon, Warren, and Union Counties. Evenings and on-call availability required.
