Case Management Supervisor RN
About the role
The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for directing the operations of their designated department, which may include human resources, customer service, and limited sales management. This is a remote role.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Directs a designated group of employees in their day-to-day operations
- Ensures the quality of service provided
- Handles human resources matters directly related to the department supervised
- Might be required to travel overnight and attend meetings
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of various reports, invoices, logs, and expenses
- Might be responsible for limited marketing and sales activities
- Might oversee case management clinical activities (dependent on whether the unit manager is an RN)
- May perform case management responsibilities (dependent on whether the unit manager is an RN for medical case management activities or qualified for vocational case management)
- Performs additional duties as assigned

- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas across multiple platforms
- Remains poised in stressful situations and communicates diplomatically
- Skillfully manages multiple, complex projects and competing priorities while working under pressure to meet deadlines and maintaining strong customer service orientation
- Works independently, while remaining available to others
- Has computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office including Excel spreadsheets
- Has technical knowledge of applicable laws, policies, and procedures in defined territory
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and analytical skills
- Great attention to detail and focus on results
Education & Experience
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing with a diploma/associate's degree (Bachelor of Science degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred)
- Current RN licensure in state of operation
- 3 or more years of recent clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation
- National certification (CRC, CIRS, CCRN, CVE, CCM, etc.), CCM preferred
- Demonstrated experience in management or supervision
Pay Range
CorVel uses a market-based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time. For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during the interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
