Responsibilities

  • Direct a designated group of employees in their day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure the quality of service provided by the department.
  • Handle human resources matters directly related to the supervised department.
  • Travel overnight and attend meetings as required.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of various reports, invoices, logs, and expenses.
  • Oversee limited marketing and sales activities.
  • Provide clinical oversight and direction for case management activities, if the unit manager is not an RN, this will be performed by a designated RN with a nationally recognized certification (e.g., case management supervisor, another manager, or local executive).
  • Perform case management responsibilities, dependent on qualifications (RN for medical case management or qualified for vocational case management).
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or associate's degree (Bachelor of Science degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
  • Current RN licensure in the state of operation.
  • Three or more years of recent clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation.
  • National certification (e.g., CRC, CIRS, CCRN, CVE, CCM) with CCM preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in management or supervision.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to remain poised in stressful situations and communicate diplomatically.
  • Skill in managing multiple, complex projects and competing priorities under pressure while meeting deadlines and maintaining a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining available to others.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude, including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Technical knowledge of applicable laws, policies, and procedures in the defined territory.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Great attention to detail and focus on results.

Pay

Pay Range: $77,960 – $120,368
