About the role

Supplies Filler Operators with clean and sanitary milk cases to allow production to run efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Unloads trailers as received and documents and accounts for cases and pallets accurately.
  • Lifts, stacks, and loads pallets, and additional items needed from trailers.
  • Safely transfers cases to the chain. When the chain is full, proactively assists with alternative job tasks to support production.
  • Keeps the work area clean and orderly and in safe condition.
  • When cleaning case washer, case dock drain, or trailers, must safely work around chemicals and machinery.
  • Monitors radio systems to ensure effective communication for operational efficiency.
  • Collaborates effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and ensure successful completion of tasks.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stand and walk.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, extend, and lift 50-60 pounds.
  • Requires reaching and handling dairy products and pushing and pulling stacks of products weighing up to 200lbs.

Work Environment

  • May require working in the cooler room with varying degrees of temperature and may include contact with water or dairy liquids.
  • Exposed to a noise level of 90 decibels.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/high.
  • Wet/slippery work conditions.
