Case Dock Laborer 3rd shift

About the role

Purity Dairies is seeking a Case Dock Laborer for their Nashville facility. This position offers competitive pay, a comprehensive benefit package, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure empty cases are available to production departments to meet production schedules.
• Maintain and clean all equipment in assigned area.
• Slide case stacks from truck using milk hook or pallet jack as appropriate.
• Ensure conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases to prevent production delays.
• Confirm empty case area is full of cases at end of shift to help next shift with production run.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Communicate effectively with all departments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary.
• Able to work in a wet environment. May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
• Able to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

The schedule will be 3rd shift Monday - Friday, 10 pm - 6:30 am. Saturdays as needed.

Pay

Case Dock Laborers for this position can make up to $20.25 per hour.
