Case Dock Laborer 1st shift
About the role
Purity Dairies is seeking a Case Dock Laborer for their Nashville facility. This position offers competitive pay, a comprehensive benefit package, and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure empty cases are available to production departments to meet production schedules.
- Maintain and clean all equipment in assigned area.
- Slide case stacks from truck using milk hook or pallet jack as appropriate.
- Ensure conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases to prevent production delays.
- Confirm empty case area is full of cases at end of shift to help next shift with production run.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Communicate effectively with all departments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience preferred but not required.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary.
- Able to work in a wet environment. May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
- Able to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to effectively work in a team environment.
- Able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
- Up to $20.25 per hour.
Schedule
- 1st Shift- Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm.
- Saturdays as needed.
