CASAC Counselor (CASAC or CASAC-T)

About the Role

We are seeking a CASAC Counselor for a full-time position in a residential substance use disorder treatment program located in Wainscott, NY. The role involves working under a Clinical Supervisor to provide counseling services to residents. The schedule includes regular business hours from Monday to Friday, with rotating Saturdays. Candidates with CASAC-T are encouraged to apply and can earn hours towards full CASAC certification while working.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CASAC or CASAC-T certification in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment setting

Qualifications

• Experience in individual, group, and family counseling
• Ability to facilitate community meetings and daily living activities
• Proficiency in teaching coping skills using motivational interviewing
• Experience in supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral skill development
• Capability to supervise milieu staff and activities
• Experience in preparing and maintaining case records

Pay

$60,000-$65,000 Per Year

Schedule

Full Time, Monday to Friday, normal business hours, with rotating Saturdays
